anna karenina

i have decided to finish reading tolstoy's Anna Karenina by the end of this tour. The only problem: I have almost 400 pages left, and less than two weeks. I have done the math: about 25 to 30 pages per day. Yesterday was day one and I read 35, so I am feeling strong. But even if I can't finish, I will hopefully get pretty close. =)

That's a lot of reading, but it's an incredible book. It's totally worth it.

Hi there,

I noticed you dont have any comments on your blog, but I wanted to let you know that I'm reading, and I find your photoblogs to be interesting.

Ah! I've wanted to read Anna Karenina since I saw Funny Face when I was little; when Fred Astaire is taking the picture of Audrey on the train platform and he is trying to give her direction and tells her to pretend she is Anna Karenina. she looks so sad, I've always wondered what it is that she could be so sad about. Summer reading I guess, since my spring break is being filled with assigned reading. Great Expectations(Dickens...eh) and Song of the Lark (Cather!)
